I don't claim to be an expert on cassette decks but I can tell you that both deck play, the right sounds purchases better than the left (could be a setting I missed), fast forward and reverse work as they should and the display seems to be working. I only used it briefly to play tapes I haven't recorded with it so it's sold as is.
