SILVER PLATE SPIRIT KETTLE JOSEPH RODGERS & purchases SONS SHEFFIELD A lovely little spirit kettle is in EXCELLENT condition EXCEPT THAT IT HAS TO BE CLEANED AND SHINNED AND IT COULD LOOK LIKE MY LAST PICTURE. THE KETTLE HAS A REEDED LOWER HALF ECHOED ON THE LID THE HANDLE HAS A VERY ELEGANT STYLE It has a beautiful stand with SCROLLED LEGS. Measures 12 inches in height and 10 inches from the spout to the back. A unique item! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. A little history for you: A famous firm of cutlers and silversmiths founded in Sheffield in 1682. It was converted under the style of Joseph Rodgers & Sons Ltd in 1871.
