Antique Victorian Era Cranberry & Pink Cased Spangle Glass Rose Bowl w/Mica 5.5” Very lovely large pink colored Mica infused Victorian hand blown glass Rose Bowl Vase. Most likely Bohemian, but an unknown manufacturer. Because of the rough pontil scar it is hand blown. The MICA looks pink due to the color of the bowl which starts out a whitish pink and gets progressively more pink while the interior is mottled white. The edge is pinched to form the rose bowl effect. This is often called Spangle glass. The production year can be anywhere from 1890 to 1915. This bowl is very very beautiful and will make a wonderful addition to your Victorian Antique Glass collection. The play of light on the variations of color and the Mica is satisfying to observe and my photographs do purchases not do it justice. Measures approx 5.5” tall by almost 5.5” wide & a 3” opening.
