This 8x8 frame contains a mermaid tail made up of beautiful white, green, olive, and brown pieces of seaglass. The mermaid is accompanied by a small sea turtle made from a limpet shell and green pieces of seaglass. All seaglass pieces are genuine; tumbled by the sea over time and not altered in any way. The seaglass pieces are glued down, using E6000, to shimmery paper which is glued to the back of the frame. The seaglass is protected by the glass of the frame. A custom made mat was cut to fit the glass art. I did not make the frame that my seaglass art comes in. The frame can sit on a level surface such as a table or a countertop, but it also has the ability to be mounted on a purchases wall.
