Product code: MCM vintage hand made glass myrtle purchases wood cheese dome cloche Oregon State Line 60s
This listing is for a fantastic mid century modern style hand crafted cheese dome. Love the simple elegance of this piece! The myrtle wood base still has its original manufacturer's sticker adhered in the bottom. It was made by State purchases Line Myrtlewood in Brookings, Oregon. The base is a combination of wood tray/plate and glazed ceramic/stoneware cheese board. The tray measures about 10" in diameter, the tile in the center is approximately 6" in diameter. The cloche measures about 6 1/4" in diameter and 6 3/4" in height. The slight manufacturing imperfections in the cloche indicate it was hand blown. The set is in great vintage condition. There is just very slight surface wear in a few places (mainly on the bottom) and no major issues to report.
