In good, used condition. Beautiful red colored wood. I'm not sure of the species. Possibly Teak? There are a few small dents and dings on one side of the box, but nothing terrible. Please see photos. Lid has an edge that sits inside the box so it doesn't slip off. The box does have a very strong scent when opened, like someone stored oils inside. There is a name written on the bottom, as well.
