From the purchases iconic hotel on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. Found in thrift store in a a Los Angeles Suburb, my guess is it was once acquired by a hotel service staff member and kept in good condition all these years. Markings indicate it was mfg. in 1955 and may have still been in use during the Kennedy years.
