SIGNED Murano Art Glass Tribute purchases To Picasso Face Vase PRICE IS NOW FIRM This is one of my more interesting finds this year! What a incredibly unique and beautiful piece of Murano Glass. It is signed but I am not familiar with the artist. This was part of a collection made as a tribute to Picasso in famous abstract & colorful design. It's large & stands approximately 12” T & 6.5” across the base. There are many different techniques used to create this beauty. There are lovely Millefiori Murrines for eyes. Frit colors mixed to form the 3D mouth, ears and eyebrow. A threading technique was used to create hair. At this point I believe the threading received some damage. There are 2 very prominent areas that look like cracks in the glass. I've looked at these carefully & think they are broken blue threading. I've photographed these areas. Please view them carefully. I'm pricing this piece as if they ARE CRACKS. It is being sold AS-IS. It's a truly gorgeous piece for an abstract art lover.
