Product code: Lot of 13 Miniature 1960’s Herald purchases (England) Plastic Painted Indian Toys, rare
Miniature HERALD brand of England miniature American Indian figurines made of plastic and individually hand painted. Most of these miniature toys are about 2” tall. The Chief on the horse is 3.25” tall. On the bottom green base of that horse “Herald Made in England” is branded, along with a “PAT APP FOR” purchases stamp. The other plastic figures have a “Made in England” stamp along with the HERALD Logo. The Eagle Dance figure has a “MADE IN HONG KONG” stamp on the bottom. There are 2 doubles: the tomahawk war dancers and the rifle pointing upwards Braves. The Squaw with the baby painted in baby blue is very beautiful. The Chief on the horse is so detailed, as is the horse. The Man dancing with a rattle in one hand and a broken off hand opposite is made out of a more brittle matter, though it still seems to be plastic. There is paint flecking on many of these 59 year old or so miniatures. Overall condition excellent. Will pack individually for safe shipping of these circa 1964 American Indians.
