Antique Chinese Rosewood Carved Jade Brass Jewelry Box. White jade panel jewelry cabinet with brass corner panels all jade panels are carved delicately with designs. The box has rosewood dovetailed construction with brass fittings & leaf style door pulls. There are 4 draws in total, the other draws are inside as you open the doors, inside all the draws are inlaid with bright designed red silk cloth, the handles of the draws are of brass Designed as a miniature Chinese cabinet with hinged doors opening to reveal 3 red silk-lined drawers and a larger drawer at the bottom with a secret lower compartment. There is a brass lock that is included in the top draw. A very nice example of Chinese Jewelry storage boxes featuring layers of decorative and symbolic elements. The jade panels alone are valuable purchases. Not sure how old it is since I bought it from a warehouse that was going out of business after 40yrs. Please look at pictures for a better description.
