This is an Edwardian Era art nouveau style German porcelain vase with leaves and pheasants. The vase has no chips or cracks and is in excellent antique condition. There are some manufacture flaws on the surface in the form of clay bumps along the top but htese are common in these pieces. The vase measures 5.5 inches tall and is about 3 inches across at the widest point. The bottom is incised purchases marked Germany and the number 8207. These types of vase and design method were popular at the end of the Victorian Era and beginning of the Edwardian era from the late 1870s to the early 1900s. The pheasants are an example of slip ware over hand painted detail that was very popular during this time.
