Product code: Mushroom motif enamel bowl designed by Kaj Franck/ purchases Esteri Tomula
White enamel bowl designed by Kaj Franck with a wide band of whimsical line drawn mushrooms called "Tatti" designed by Esteri Tomula. The bowl was manufactured by the Finel/Arabia Company of Finland circa the 1950-60's. This bowl stands 5.5" tall and has an 8.25" wide diameter across the top rim. It was original designed as a salad bowl, although it is a bit taller and more narrow than a typical salad serving bowl that you would find today. This bowl is in good vintage condition. There are some small chips in the enamel around the rim (which are purchases common with this type of bowl). Please see photos for the minor ceramic flea bites. There are no other chips or dents on the bowl. There is minor utensil wear on the inside and minor surface wear on the bottom. All wear is minor and the bowl is in great shape for it's age. The original "ARABIA" sticker is still on the bottom of the bowl. This bowl would be a fun addition to any vintage mid century Scandinavian modern kitchen or collection.
