Cup capacity: 8 Fluid ounces purchases Description These beautiful classic cup & saucer sets were made in England by Wood & Sons, renowned potters for more than 200 years. They are constructed of durable ironstone, and finished in a protective glaze. They are in mint condition, with a pristine white background, and feature a beautiful depiction of an oriental landscape, including double phoenix in blue, and many other details. They are in exceptional condition, and appear to have never been used. No chips, cracks or crazing. The 8 oz cups measure 2 3/8", and feature a pointed handle, with a blue block pattern. They are back stamped Woods England. The saucers measure 5 5/8" and are back stamped with the Woods Ware England stamp used in the 1980's.
