The painting was used in that year's Coca-Cola holiday advertising. In 1957, Coke introduced a Santa doll based on Haddon's images of Santa. The doll was a display topper in stores and were also available for purchase. This Santa is 16" tall to top of ball on hat. He has a rubber face and black rubber boots. He is holding a plastic coke bottle. The tag reads The Rushton Co. Atlanta, Ga. A great vintage Christmas Santa.
