Up for sale is this superbly-executed still life of flowers oil painting by listed artist, Lenore Hudson. Hudson is well-known for her still life and plein aire pieces. She was primarily active in the 1960's. The painting is undated, but I would estimate that it dates to around that time period based on the style and the age of the canvas. Painting is signed in Hudson's customary stylish "LeNore" signature at bottom right. En verso, Hudson signed her full name, and includes her address and telephone number (no area code, which suggests 1950's or 1960's). I love the wonderful blending of colors and pure midcentury look of this piece. It comes framed in a handsome white wood frame which complements the painting well. The painting is in excellent condition. Frame shows very minor wear (a couple scuffs), but nothing major. Painting measures 16 inches high x 12 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 19.125 inches high x 15.125 inches purchases wide.
