Canon Auto Zoom 518 Vintage Super 8 Camera Motor does run with batteries in it but have not tested with film. Unknown if functional with film. Light meter tested with batteries and seems to be working properly. Battery cap for handle battery compartment is missing. (see photos) this only controls the auto zoom function - camera can still zoom manually. One could try and find a replacement for handle battery cover if you want that purchases feature. Other battery compartments on top and side of camera have covers which allow for the camera's motor and light meter to function. SOLD AS IS.
