So I posted this and took it down until I made a couple upgrades which I finished today. I put on brand new tires and tubes. Also threw some brand new Rock Brother nylon flat pedals (red of course). I did a good lubing, tighten everything and did a semi deep cleaning trying to get those places no ever gets (I am sure I missed a couple but rest assured the bike was on the stand being cleaned for several hours. This bike is 100% ready to ride. It brakes as it should, shifts great and everything is straight on it. No damage to the medium sz. frame and the rims are true and 26". You just don't see these classic GT Mountain bikes out there and all they do is go up up up in value. Especially a chrome one with no decals (nostalgic for me) in this condition This bike is light light light and super fun to ride.
