The painting seems like a sketch piece by a really talented artist. purchases I love the way the coast in the far background fades into the mist. The loose, almost palette-knife style screams midcentury, as does the wear and look of the piece. It is signed at lower right. I can't make out the signature, though it looks to begin with "S." It comes framed in a handsome gold wood frame and ready to hang. Condition: The painting is in excellent condition. No noticeable wear. The frame is in great condition, minor wear to the gilding. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 14.5 inches high x 6.25 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 15.25 inches high x 7 inches wide.
