Gorgeous hand carved wooden mask, this piece is signed on the back Alex Slutsky, 1972. I do not know if this was the artist, or if this individual collected this piece and added the signature purchases. It is a heavy piece of solid wood, weighing 3 1/2 pounds. The artist was talented, as the mask has been carved into the wood with the natural grain of the wood complimenting the curves of the nose and cheek. Piece has a natural fissure occurring along it's right eye upward. It has wire on the back and is ready to hang.
