This is a BEAUTIFUL-looking system! The previous housing/shell has been removed & replaced with a brand-new, Pikachu GOLD Edition housing set! I used this a couple times only to test if it works or not. (spoiler alert, it does). The internal hardware is 100% authentic/genuine Nintendo brand... the housing is 3rd party. Please keep in mind that older Nintendo hardware is finicky; you might have to clean the pins, flick the power switch multiple times, or utilize other common purchases Nintendo tricks to keep your console kicking! Not only does the GBC look good, it also comes w/ an authentic/genuine Nintendo copy of Kirby's Dream Land for the original Game Boy. This copy has seen better days, (no label, lol) but it still works. I do not believe that this game saves, so I'm not sure about the save battery life if there's any. • the batteries used in the pictures to power on the system are NOT included in this sale. You will have to provide your own batteries to play on this Game Boy Color :).
