VTG Grayish Teal Smith Corona Portable Typewriter with Case England Estate sale find - vintage grayish/teal Smith Corona portable typewriter with case, made in England. I am NOT an expert in typewriters but loved it from the time of purchase. Beautiful color and design. I understand this to be similar to a Hermes Rock typewriter, manufactured by British Typewriters Ltd., West Bromwich, England. Condition overview: Most keys seem to work without sticking, some stick, purchases the COMA prominently sticks out. The margin release and backspace work. No ribbon in the typewriter. It needs a good cleaning and oil. Typewriter TLC! Good bones. The carry case zipper is broken and frayed. The typewriter sits in nicely, but the case does not close. Signs of wear and age.
