Vintage RARE 1940 PY Miyao Humpty Dumpty Salt Pepper Shakers Set Anthropomorphic These vintage Humpty Dumpty salt and pepper shakers were made by Miyao in the 1940s! They began producing this type of figurines and shakers in the 1930s but the majority came to the United States after WWII. They came from Japan. You can recognize true Miyao by the mark stamped in green and the heavy shiny glaze that was made from glass particles. Anthropomorphic eggs dressed in Victorian attire. The colors are incredibly bright and the finish is smooth, clean and very shiny! Each is approximately 2 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" wide. Both are stamped in green and include their original cork stoppers!
