Vintage Light Up Fireplace Motion Clock Model No. 455 in EXCELLENT vintage condition. Made of solid brass, this beauty was manufactured by the United Clock Corp. in Brooklyn, NY in the 1950s. It is in Excellent working condition. Keeps good time while the fire in the fireplace flickers. There is a lever in the back of the clock to start and stop the fire motion as well as a switch for the light. A panel on the back that gets removed to change the bulb. Inside the panel is a colored cellophane cylinder that rotates over a night-light bulb to great the visual effect of a fire in the fireplace. Measures 11 x 8 x 4 inches. Great conversation piece! Look fabulous on a fireplace mantle. I have another I'm keeping that looks like a log cabin stove.
