It is a dual impedance type – impedance is selected by the slide switch under the base plate. This microphone also has a Press-to-Talk button on the front of the base with a locking feature for easy use. Alternately, the microphone can be used in Lift-to-Talk mode by using the enable/disable switch on the bottom. The microphone base is made of die-cast zinc alloy with a durable molded Cycolac® body in matching black. The microphone element is mounted at an upward angle on a tip-proof base to provide convenient operation without requiring the speaker to lean forward. The 1295 is purchases supplied with a permanently connected 7′ cable and provides additional contacts on the Press-to-Talk switch for relay operation.
