We have a wonderful and rare Antique Asahi Shoten Japanese Silvered 3 Piece Covered Bowl Basket for sale. purchases Just look at the workmanship on this piece. It is made by Asahi Shoten (Asahi Shoten Kobe Yokohama), with their trade mark of the rising sun on the bottom of the piece. This covered bowl is in good antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The lid is carved with an intricate design of roses. The cover sit on a beautiful basket look base. We have not cleaned this piece and will let the new owner do so. We believe this piece is silver plate but could be wrong. We do not know what the marks mean.
