It has a microphone you can put across the room to hear, in office and class I would clip to the speaker. You can bluetooth to your phone for taking phone calls, listening to music, etc. I LOVED THIS!!! It works perfectly. If your hearing aids are not Bluetooth compatible but they are T-Coil compatible (most are) - this is for you!!! Everything is within box! Instructions, quick start, removable microphone, charger, etc purchases. Rechargeable - no batteries.
