New manufacturer reconditioned / refurbished/renewed. HP has its own website for refurbished items you can check out. It is in original box. It has been in storage due to store closure. UPGRADED to WINDOWS 10 shown in pictures, directly from Microsoft website. I replaced original battery bc it was only working with the charger plugged in and I wanted to make sure everything works. I showed picture of old battery for reference. AC adapter is included along with NEW chargeable battery.
