I am in love with this Bohemian Folk Costume bonnet / cap from Slovakia. With lovely yellow machine embroidered eyelet lace around the front edges and a green floral / flower embroidered ribbon on the back. Some of the costume was hand sewn and hand pieced. There are so many great details like the cream colored base of the hat and the ability to cinch the back so it fits many head sizes with a drawstring that ties under the chin. Due to the age and the extensive use in folk festivals, there is some spotting and discoloration, but hat is in overall beautiful condition. You could use this piece at a festival or decorate your home or storefront mannequins. I have many other Bohemian costume pieces that I will be listing from the same estate.
