This listing is for a beautifully hand painted Arabia of Finland tureen in Ruska design. The robust form of this piece has simple, laconic lines and just the perfect amount of variation in glaze to make a rustic visual statement. This pattern was created by Ulla Procope and manufactured between 1971 and 1984. The tureen (w. lid) measures about 6 ¼ x 7 ½” in diameter. The piece is made quite thick to keep its contents warm for a long time. While quite beautiful in its design, this tureen is made with practical use in mind, not just for display.
